Jews consider themselves to be the chosen people. Muslims and Christians believe they follow the true God and their religion is the only "right" and "true" religion. All three, it seems to me, believe they are the best and most perfect religion and if you follow their religion God will like you the best, you will be, in God's eyes, perfect (or chosen).

(I'm excluding the non monotheistic religions because I'm too ignorant of them. I've never had a Hindu knock on my door and say they can "save" me if I follow their religion, or they won't fly planes into my building if I change, or I can't be among the chose ones because I don't believe as they do.)
