Stephen Colbert on Larry King was great
thought I think that Larry King was not sure what to make of him. This is the first time I watched the Larry King show.

It will be repeated again in two hours - midnight west coast time.

When Colbert said that his show is a mockery of pundits, who tend to raise their voices to make a point, Chris Matthews immediately came to mind.

2. Colbert is scary funny. It all just seems to come so naturally to him.
He just blows me away every time.

3. What a talent Colbert is. Thank god he didn't last on MSM. I am also
glad he plans on doing his show way into the future.

5. And to think he's from that terribly backwards state of SC
I'm proud of this SC native.

John Edwards was born here, too.

Not everyone in the South sucks.

6. I heard him say something during an earlier interview on NBC
He mentioned that, as a kid, he tried to lose his local accent because he was afraid that people would think he was a hick (or worse). It broke my heart.

I really admire Stephen Colbert -- he's been through a lot, but he seems so well-grounded. And he does such a brilliant job of playing that character (who happens to have the same name).
