Al Gore has me bawling right now. |
|
I don't want to seem like a ninny or a wimp but I was just sitting here relishing the fact that Al Gore has won the Nobel Peace Prize and I just can't help myself. When I think about all that is wrong with the world and all that needs mending in this country and the wrongs that have been done to such an honorable man, I can't help but tear up.
Al Gore is my hero. And my hope.

For one thing, if they even try, they'd be going up against the IPCC as well!
p.s. I've been studying global warming for almost 20 years, and the researchers I know have been e-mailing back and forth all day! The Nobel prize -- for Peace! -- is like a big "thank you" to everyone who's been working on this issue, including the IPCC people (some of whom I've met).

3. You're right. Swamp Rat's "Pride" thread got me misting up. |

But for a different reason. It feels good to feel good about your country once in a awhile. And our real 43rd President has got to feel proud after this year. His accomplishments are simply breathtaking. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=2027538&mesg_id=2027538
