Righties are crying now, saying that Reagan should have got the Nobel Prize too
Here is a list, I doubt it includes everything, as to WHY Reagan doesn't deserve the Nobel Peace Prize, but he should get the first Nobel Prize for Crimes against Humanity:

Favoring "constructive engagement" with the Apartheid Regime over ending it
Providing assistance for the Contras
Selling weapons to Iran
Covering up the El Mozote massacre
Said that Efrain Rios Montt was getting a "bum rap", even though he tried to ethnically cleanse Guatemala of indigenous Mayans
Helping Saddam Hussein aim his weapons of mass destruction, that the Reagan Administration also gave them, at Iran
Told the Contras to target schools, doctors, and humanitarian activists. This doctrine got an American killed by a Contra team
Helped the terrorists we fight today

If Reagan contributed to peace, then Genghis Khan must have been actually Jesus.

3. ah yes... Ray-gun was such a peacenik
after all, he started the so-called War on Drugs which caused the US prison population to sky-rocket.

He ordered the illegal invasion of Grenada, causing the deaths of thousands.

He ordered funding of the fascist Contras in Central America.

He was at the helm when Rummy took chemical weapons to Iraq, and looked the other way when Saddam used them on Iraqis.

This is just the beginning.

Oh yeah, some peaceful guy, Ray-gun. :sarcasm:

27. nixon turned up the heat, for sure, but it was Ray-Gun that coined the term
I remember the headline in 1985. "Reagan declares War on Drugs", and I knew we had drawn one step closer to the police state.

25. And let's not forget that the invasion of Grenada was purely a distraction...
from the political fallout of the bombing of the marine barracks in Beruit.

Such an upstanding guy, that ray-gun.

13. Why is that?
Every government building, airport, highway, bridge, and slab of concrete that isn't dedicated to the Ten Commandments instead has been named or renamed after him since his Presidency. It's never enough for the RW Extremists, is it?

Reagan did more to create homelessness and surreptitious wars than any President in my lifetime EXCEPT GWB. Yes... The Nobel Peace Prize is EXACTLY what he deserved... :sarcasm:
