I finally have come to understand the phrase "Sore/Loserman" |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-12-07 09:49 AM by madinmaryland
I have watched as Al Gore has gone on to be the most influential and powerful ex-VP ever working on Global Warming and climate change issues, while Joe Lieberman has done nothing but whine and cry, and be a water carrier for George Bush.
GO AL!!1!!

3. That might be one reason for Gore not to run |
|
Lieberman would clearly lay into him - hell the Republicans would do anything to make that happen - and it would be embarassing for Gore. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

6. Al Gore picked Joe Lieberman as his running mate in 2000 |
|
In 2000 Al Gore felt that Joe Lieberman was the best democrat to be one heartbeat away from the Presidency. In hindsight that doesn't look like one of his best decisions. And Lieberman talking a lot about this fact and taking shots at the man who selected him as his Vice Presidential Candidate will be a distraction at best.

8. Go on TV and remind people that Gore's running mate was a useless cipher |
|
It could be like that Simpson's episode where Sideshow Bob ran against Quimby. "Mayor Quim by even paroled four time felon Sideshow Bob."
Lieberman could get out and say, "Would you vote for a man who chose an obviously unqualified, political hack such as myself as his running mate?"

It was a legit question that was met with a smartass remark.
I think if Lieberman was going to do any damage to Gore, and it's an if, he'd do it behind closed doors in hopes no one found out it was him. Afterall, I'm sure joe's got a few skeletons in his closet as well.
BTW: Cute dog.

12. I would not consider Lieberman to be an unqualified hack. |
|
I would more likely say his views have diverged greatly from Gore's views in 2000 to today. Had Gore won the election, how would Lieberman have acted?

14. On the whole I agree with what you say |
|
I'm in one of my moods, where I look for the saracstic/humorous comment in everything I write.
Don't know why...but today is one of them.
This was just another opportunity.
I do think, had 9/11 occured on a Gore Administration watch, he would have acted is someways the same as he is now. I think his pummeling in 2004 is what made him become bitter and last years primary set him off.
