Just stated on NBC channel 4 Today show:

"My own personal hope is that this might lead him to consider another political event."
"He is the best qualified in America to be president."

2. Another Nobel laureate who had an election stolen from him.
And they got away with Iran/Contra too.

5. Gore not running highlights the diminishing value of the US Presidency. It started with Republicans
running the terribly unqualified GW Bush in 2000,

It continued with the media pushing for Bush and attacking Gore's clothing and mannerisms during the campaign instead of reporting on issues.

It continued with the US Supreme Court ( by a majority of one vote cast by a justice appointed by GW Bush's father) deciding an American election-and deciding based upon the harm possibly done to GW Bush if a recount were to prove he lost (a decision so obviously and knowingly flawed that the SC stated it could not be used as a precedent ).

It continued with Bush's subsequent destuctive reign in the White House, where the main power of the US has been reduced to doing Harm.

Just as international corporate empires have become richer and more powerful than governments, Gore's command of the world stage is more powerful than the being the head of the US.

6. Actually, it started in the eighties.
They stole the selection from Carter by making a deal with the Iranians to hold US hostages until Reagan was sworn in. The Hostage crises was the single most important issue on the minds of voters.
What followed was twelve years of Pub rule.

That time period was also significant as it was the period where they created the media climate that we have now.

9. So do I
More than I can say. My emotions have been up and down and all over the place these past few weeks.

I'm so tired of the MSM and poll numbers. I hope Al can bask in his well deserved glory and move forward with whatever is in his heart.

It's good to see you. :hi:
