So How Much Control Is The Corporate $$ Exerting Over The DEM/REPUB Presidential Nominating Process? |
|
We say we want to the return the government to the people.
We say we want to cut out the influence of special interest groups and their huge campaign contributions.
We say that government must work for the benefit of the middle class, working poor and the poverty stricken, NOT just for the richest Americans and corporations.
We say we want our next President to implement a progressive agenda that does not kowtow to business/corporate interests over those of individual Americans.
So 3 months out from the first caucus/primaries, take a look at the candidates and their polling numbers.
Do those results indicate we will accomplish our goals?
Just wondering....

3. The opportunity to elect a truly progressive President does not come along often.... |

... and this is one of those times.
In any other given year, Repub numbers would be much higher heading into a General Election, and the Democratic candidate would have to appeal to the 'middle or moderate voters' in a big way to be elected.
However, this year we have the opportunity to elect a 'progressive' President who can begin to repair all the damage that the Bush Administration has done. Yet, many do not appreciate the opportunity available here which is unlikely to occur again for many years after this election.
Examine the positions of HRC, BO and JRE and decide for yourself who would be the best 'progressive' President.
And why is it that the most corporate money is going to the least 'progressive' candidates? That is so easy I won't even insult you by answering that one.
