"It's Al Or Nothing!"
Just thought I'd toss that in as the perfect campaign slogan for the Draft Gore movement.

Enjoy, and feel free to steal it.

1. I don't think Al would agree with it. He would want us to get behind the Democratic
nominee - whoever it is.

4. If he thought that, he'd be running already
It's possible, however, that he might believe that we're fucked whether he runs or not, and maybe that's why he's not running. Or, he may believe that we're even MORE fucked if he runs, because the presidency would actually distract from his mission.

7. So true.
I would love to see him run and be elected AGAIN, but I agree with you 100%. He seems to be more active, enthusiastic and dedicated to awareness of the environment and the consequences of actions not taken.

And let's face it, he's probably sick and tired to death of the bullshit that goes on in politics.

6. Well then it's nothing because in all probability he isn't running
so I'm voting for Kucinich--and then if he isn't nominated the Dem nominee.

8. YIKES. . .DU should be titled
Edited on Fri Oct-12-07 01:02 PM by stellanoir
"ALL AL ALL the time" today.

As well it should be.

I've not commented on any of the plethora of Al threads until now but agree that this is an obvious celebratory and a "If Only" moment.

True leadership deserves global, not partisan accolades.

Ever since I read the "Stop Shaking the Sign" story about how DU came to be, I've referred to Gore as the patron saint of DU.

As to all the posters pining away for his entry into the the '08 race, I'm neutral on that. No one but no one has "walked in his moccasins." Kerry may have walked in one of them.

He just seems so much happier and far more free now than he did in '00.

I feel that he should do as he pleases. He's earned far more than that.

* is too damned cowardly to place a brief congratulatory phone call to him. Though he'll congratulate sports heroes routinely. Priorities,. . . priorities, . . . .priorities. . .

Some decider.
