The petroleum industry's propaganda PR firms have done a good job convincing people against global warming and Al Gore. It's scary when seemingly knowledgeable and rational people fall for these smear campaigns championed by the MSM. Some of the oil industries funded climate change debunkers are The Climate Coalition, The Competitive Enterprise Institute, Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise, Committee for a Conservative Tomorrow, and of course the American Enterprise Institute. Not only have they flooded the media with their anti-science garbage, they have filled the internet with pseudo-scientific web sites like The Energy Chest and Tech Central Station for school kids to get their brainwashing. To bad, such an honor for an honorable man and to have half the nation be so mean-spirited and disrespectful.
