This is soooo fucked up and related to the town I grew up and, well. . .
I can't even follow this, it's so strange.

http://blabbeando.blogspot.com/2006/06/adrian-alun-dennis-exleys-body-sought.html

(snip)
LYNN, Massachusetts: Adrian Exley was wrapped tightly in heavy plastic, then bound with duct tape. A leather hood was put over his head, with a thin plastic straw inserted for air, and he was shut in a closet.

It may not have been exactly what the 32-year-old stripper from Clapham,London had been expecting when he traveled to Boston to stay with a man he met through a bondage and sadomasochism Web site.

Exley's body was discovered last June, two months after he was bound up in a bondage "playroom" Gary LeBlanc built in the basement of his suburban Boston home.

LeBlanc — a 48-year-old Gulf Oil sales executive — detailed his responsibility in the fatal bondage session in a five-page suicide note, just before he put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger.

Now the question is: since Exley consented to the sex, is he responsible for his own death?

Rest of story

5. It's a sad story....second one of these
here on DU in the past few days. Nothing against your duck...just seemed to be a little disconcerting to see at the end of the snip.

Peace!

14. her mother in law lives there aka "My cross to bear" yeah she'd love it
if you moved in and her mil was history. I always remind her "You read the playbook before you got in the game honey, deal with it" She hates that.

You're either a victim or you're a criminal there.

17. she's a freshly minted us citizen orignally from Tehran, i'm sure my sister would use other
hmm adjectives to describe her. The hilarious part is that her mil knows what my sister thinks of her so she does shit that she knows will bother her and then my siiter lets it bug her, "Stop falling into the trap dumb ass!".

10. Doubtful
More likely a tragic accident caused by negligence. This is a fetish for some people.

16. I'm pretty sure it was an accident.
He and his partner were probably trying autoerotic asphyxiation - some people get off on it. Very dangerous if you go too far. Not to mention embarrassing...

7. I have heard of a masochistic 'fetish' or fantasy involving being murdered.
The ultimate desire or sexual turn-on is being murdered. Don't know if that's real or not, don't have documentation for it, just sayin' I've heard of it, fwiw.

Why do they try and fill that 'emotional hole' with this?

11. It's many different things
Edited on Sat Oct-13-07 02:23 PM by Marrah_G
Emotional, sexual, the adrenaline/endorfin rush of doing something extreme. People go to far sometimes and trust people they should not, with their lives.

9. Yikes
Not the first issue like this to come up in the boston area bdsm scene. That's some scary shit.

Never a good idea to travel alone to meet someone from the net, especially if you already know they have sadistic qualities.

18. "Lynn, Lynn, the City of Sin."
As well known around these parts as Fenway Franks. For good reason, obviously.
