U.S. not ‘tactically’ safer as a result of Iraq war.

The director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Scott Redd, tells NBC News that, “in the short term,” the Iraq war “probably” has created a “giant recruiting tool” for terrorists. In response to a question about whether the US is generally safer after having invaded Iraq, “tactically, probably not,” Redd responded. “Strategically, we’ll wait and see.”

1. Remember in 2001 % 2002, when the whole world seemed to be on our side?
There have been many costs of the invasion of Iraq and that has been one of them.

3. "Probably"? How about CERTAINLY.
Many people were saying as much, all the way back in 2002.

5. Michael Scheuer (Bin Laden hunt unit chief) is of the same opinion.

... Bin Laden was “delighted” that the U.S. is occupying Iraq as it has become a training ground and recruiting tool for new jihadists joining the movement.

6. So much for that crapola slogan about the troops "protecting America"
In fact, the troops are endangering America & her citizens by creating enemies where none existed before.
