Qwest is available in the following states:
I just tried to sign up for Qwest. It isn't available in my state, but is available in the following states.

Let's see, the one company who stood up to Bush and said no secret surveillance on our citizens. I would say this is a company worth supporting. And it would be great to know that your phone service does not include a wire tap.

available in:
Arizona
Colorado
Iowa
Idaho
minnesota
Montana
North Dakota
Nebraska
New mexico
Oregon
South Dakota
Utah
Washington
Wyoming

It would be wonderful if citizens just changed over to Qwest by the thousands.

1. GMTA: I was just looking at that page myself not 10 minutes ago.
I think that's just a list where they have Qwest stores.

You may be able to get some Qwest services in other states as well.

10. carlyle bought them AFTER Qwest refused to cooperate.
That is also the reason why their former CEO is under endictment.

9. Qwest is not that great
Several years ago, they changed my parents long distance phone service without their knowledge or permission. It's called "slamming". My mom got her service changed back after learning of it(via her phone bill) but to this day there is a charge of $35.00 on her monthly bill that she deducts. Qwest charged her that for changing her service and it has never been removed.

She has tried contacting them several different ways and telling them them to remove it. It's still there. She was told at the time by BellSouth(now AT&T) that they couldn't remove it.

So I have no love for them and neither do my folks-understandably.
