What about spying on us and then lying about it?

What about starting a war on a sovereign nation based on lies?

How about his secret Energy Policy which has resulted in record gas prices and record corporate profits for the oil companies?

Those are just three of many, many more.

Yet those aren't good enough for Nancy. It would be hard to find someone that could do a worse job. If she doesn't like the criticism, she knows what she can do to fix it.

Like putting impeachment on the table. It's her job, and it's not an option.

As a part of the Dem House at large, I hold her and her colleagues in contempt. But, I refuse to single her out as being the one to blame.

before the elections in 2006.

As a Democrat, she had been locked out by the GOP for a long time, so how could she possibly know what she needed to know at that point to make such a statement?

And her inability to keep her House in order is further evidence she can't do the job.

Had she kept her mouth shut, or said a more appropriate, "I have no idea what's been going on in the White House, the Republicans have been in control of both Houses and have failed to provide the necessary oversight. Once we have the opportunity, we'll perform our Constitutionally required checks and balances and that will determine if impeachment is a possibility or not."

There. If I can write it, her people could have, too.

The fact that she's willing to put blinders on and look the other way eliminates any possibility of her having any control. It's pretty easy to see where the problem lies.

He's for it, then he's against it.

Then he wants to see proof that people really want it. When Cindy Sheehan shows up at his office with lots of others in favor of impeachment, he has them thrown out and/or arrested.

I don't know where Mr. Conyers stands on impeachment at this time. He said Pelosi's feelings about it would not influence his, but so far he's done little about it.

24. I'm tolerant of differing opinions. MY opinion is that it's counter-productive to portray Pelosi

as some kind of a clown. To say the least.

Oh, I know it's real hip in some quarters around here to act like she's a flaming neo-con somewhere to the right of Mussolini, a Bush toady and all the rest... but those of us in and around her district know the truth. She's been a true friend to progressives and liberal causes for a very long time.

She hasn't given EVERYONE every thing they want, but she's doing a decent job given what she has to work with- and she deserves our support.
