CNN saying Putin signs bill to build Iranian reactors. |
|
So an attack on Iran could kill Russian citizens. Not a good thing.

1. Well, if Chernobyl is an example of Russian quality, they'll be killing themselves too. |

Please pass the mashed potatoes, dear. :9

5. What soul? They're godless commies, at least according to McCarthy... |
|
But tell me to get out of the 1950s; we don't trade with enemies, only friends. So Russia is not our enemy.

9. U.S. advisors encouraged the Shah to build reactors, too |
|
The United States of Amnesia, indeed ... We wanted Iran to have nuclear power way back when (presumably so they'd save their OIL FOR US!) but now that we're not on good terms, they're not allowed to pursue anything nu-ku-lar (even for peaceful purposes)?

world right now... With the meeting today by Bush with the Dalai Lama, that is not going to please China one little bit either... Bush has managed to piss many very important countries off in the world.

14. Interesting. That also kills Iranian need for development of nuclear technology. |

It'll be interesting to see how that shakes out. This could be very good for peace, or very bad for peace, depending on what Iran does next (and how we respond to it).
