Putting up the odds, and who's picking who.
Obama is too cerebral, Clinton has Clinton, woman vs. black, sigh.

1. And then there's Mort Zuckerman, who thinks Bloomberg will enter the
campaign.

3. The Repugs are are sure that they can destroy her.
Zuckerman is a Billionaire, who would pump big money behind Bloomberg & get some of his Billionaire cronies to also do so.

5. Bloomberg is much richer than he is.
Bloomberg is 34 on the Forbes list, Zuckerman is 188. Of course, at that point, it's all too much money to spend in a lifetime.

If Bloomie runs, though, he will not take contributions from anyone. He'll use his own dough. No regulations, no reporting.

Bloomberg is among the world's richest people. He was ranked 34th by Forbes magazine in its list of 400 Richest Americans in September 2006. He was ranked 142nd in its list of the The World's Billionaires in March 2007.

As of 2007, Mort Zuckerman is the 188th wealthiest American<1> as per Forbes.

7. Make sure you catch him this week, and do a search. There were

some disruptors in the audience that made for some interesting times. Do a search: Chris Matthews was on, as was Sheila Jackson Lee.

And John Edwards, who Maher sounded like he was endorsing.

10. Man. Did you enjoy Maher and guests, despite the foibles?
Edited on Sat Oct-20-07 01:46 AM by babylonsister
Maher has turned me on to some amazing people, like Cornel West. Tonight, it was okay by me.

As for Moyer, that is 'must watch', and I'll bet it's available now. Jeremy Scahhill is simply amazing, and he has no agenda.

11. I think he said Edwards would be "a sure winner. "
I'm not sure it was an actual endorsement.

4. Putting up odds is hardly the same as endorsing.
They're merely seeing the same polls everyone else is seeing.
