CNN, not exactly a left wing news program has a poll up asking if Congressman Stark should apologize and 92% say he shouldn't. http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/american.morning/

I guess that puts Nanci Pelosi in the 8% right wing fringe.

2. I know. What is it with Pelosi and Hoyer? I guess they look at political contributions.
"We the people" are organizing against the corporations, and I just hope we can overcome them.

3. Those who agree with Stark are marking the turning point for this country
There comes a time during every major controversial event where people make decisions and go down paths of no return. Here the choice is simple:

1. Continue with Bush's illegal war.

2. Identify the war for what it is and put a stop to it.

Stark made the clear statement " ... if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's amusement."

Who is amused one might ask? Here is a single data point out of this whole mess:

IED (Improvised Explosive Devices) are killing American troops. The Army responds with the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle. The Army just sent out $5.2 BILLION to three companies, Navistar International, BAE Systems, and Force Protection for 2400 MRAPs. This will be followed by $8 BILLION more in December for another 6500 MRAPs.

The question is: Who gets pleasure from out troops dieing from IEDs?

Answer: The defense contractors riding the 13 BILLION dollar gravy train.

4. You're right. The defense contractors are "amused" all the way to the bank.
The Masters of War. Always.
