SCOTUS to rule on wrongful arrests
High court ruling may make officers individually liable for wrongful arrests

The nation's highest court has let stand a lower court's ruling that a trial should decide whether Officer Jeremy DePietro and Detective Christopher Borona violated Christopher Russo's constitutional rights when they arrested him for the 2002 holdup even though a surveillance videotape of the crime apparently showed Russo was not the robber.

Maybe, a ruling in favor of wrongful arrests will end "arrest and prosecution" contests and, other malfeasance in the judicial system.

1. Sounds like we need more
pro-police state Justices on the bench. I thought this was why we put Bush in the Whitehouse. He can't seem to get that right either.

3. If there is a ruling to make LEOs accountable
it will be interesting to observe whether arrest rates drops. In the end, its all about money. Federal grants to law enforcement induces the arrests, think Tulsa, Texas.

2. I personally would be extremely surprised if the court rules against the cops
It isn't how an "Authoritarian" entity operates..Does anyone doubt the GOP is an "Authoratarian" entity?
