2. i don't know, but i was thinking about you the other day.
i read that post of yours about your re-attachment surgery and thinking about your upcoming therapy.

then i awoke on tuesday with a dead lower right arm.

my radial nerve seems to have taken a hike.

i am extremely righthanded and now typing with only my left index finger.

so i wonder how many duers are one-handed.

cuts off the blood flow and damages the nerves, newly weds, new couples sleeping together with ones head on the others arm can cause severe palsy of the nerves

16. that's exactly what happened.
due to decades-old traumas, i have slept on my right side for years to allieve the pain.

well, it bit me in the ass this time.

13. you got that right, buddy.
one of life's little adventures.

get this...

since my radial nerve checked out, i have these weird tremors in my hand.

the doctor said that is not a good deal and asked me if alcohol seemed to tamp down the tremors.

i said yeah.

he told me to toss down a drink or two or three whenever they showed up.

i almost jumped out of the chair and kissed him.

9. You have to use a laser shrinking ray to make the dog small enough
to fit inside your web camera, then you have to plug the camera up and upload the dog to a hosting account...

Seriously though, you need somewhere to host your pictures, then link to them. Make sure to check DU's guidelines for photo size limits for signatures. I believe they're like 500x200 (or less).

Edited on Fri Oct-26-07 08:03 PM by Ghost in the Machine
Ctrl + C = Copy

Ctrl + V = Paste

Edit to clarify: Hold the "Ctrl" button down and hit "V"...

10. go here and follow the instructions thats how I done it anyway
http://www.knowledgehound.com/khhow2s/resize_photos.htm

(snip)

This doesn't change your photo in any way. It's merely a display issue.

If you're emailing a picture, and you want the recipient to be able to print a nice copy of it, then just attach it, send it and forget about how big it looks inside the email program's window.

If, on the other hand, any of the following is true, you'll need to reduce the number of pixels:

The recipient doesn't need a high-quality version of the photo.
You can't email a message that big.
The recipient's mailbox isn't big enough for the file.
You want to put the photo on a web page.
When you try to print the photo using your photo software, it's still too big.
So, how do you resize your photo?

If you're a Windows user, you'll want to download a free program called IrfanView. Go to this link to download the latest version.

When you've finished installing IrfanView, go to this tutorial. It will take you step-by-step through how to make your image smaller.

Make sure that you don't alter your original photo. Always make a copy and create the new version of your image from that.

Macintosh users already have what they need.

If you use the Panther operating system, use iPhoto. Simply select the photo you want to send, click on the Email icon at the bottom of the window, and choose your photo size. When you click the "Compose" button, a new email window will open with the smaller copy of your image already inserted.

If you use the Tiger operating system, this feature is built directly into the Mail program that comes bundled with it.

Good luck! Now that you know the secret, pass it on. ;)
