Bottom Line: The Democratic defense of Bush/Cheney is so reliable... |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-06-07 05:02 PM by Junkdrawer
that the Republicans are forcing the Democrats to take the political hit in doing just that.
Kinda makes you proud to be an American, huh?

The system is corrupt and broken.

4. If the Republican leadership thought even for a second.... |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-06-07 05:20 PM by Junkdrawer
that the Democratic leadership would actually try to expose Cheney's crimes, they would have voted with Hoyer to table the Articles of Impeachment.
Since Republicans KNOW there is no danger of that, they voted to make Hoyer/Pelosi/Conyers take extra steps to kill the Articles and thus further demoralize the party's base.

6. that's what I thought...the Dem and Repug and M$M Spin is that Kucinich was Overwhelmed |
|
and that Hoyer Seized the Moment and the Repugs joined in and it was a COMPROMISE.
Yet...I saw Kucinich up there seeming to protest Hoyer's ruling.
It's all so opaque. Games and such.... IT turns off voters and folks here...the games going on.

10. God forbid that just once the Dems stand with one of their own |
|
...rather than tripping over themselves to do exactly what the Repugs want them to, the terminally ignorant f*cks.
