Toyota pulls anti-Fresno Prius ad after Sen. Feinstein complains
Toyota Motor Corporation has pulled an ad that likened Fresno to an outdated pit stop after Sen. Dianne Feinstein wrote the car company to complain.

The commercial depicts people driving the fuel-efficient Prius in an imagined future in which "gas stations will become nothing more than low-budget tourist stops. Like ghost towns ... or Fresno."

That slap got no mileage with Mayor Alan Autry, who asked Feinstein to intervene. Friday, Toyota officials recalled the spot produced for auto dealers in the Southeast U.S., and edited out any mention of the San Joaquin Valley's largest city.

1. Feinstein needs to stop worrying about Fresno's
reputation and start worrying about the possibility of being recalled by her constituents and labelled a repuke neocon!

13. You can't recall federal officials.
Death, resignation, or expulsion are the only ways to cut a senator's term short.

3. Frickin Jesus freak autry was trying to give a failed golf course
development to donald trump. Fresno has a piss poor image and a lot of it is because they keep electing dildos and douchebags like "bubba' to high local public office.

5. there's not a DOUBT
that with a solid candidate with brains and charisma to challenge her, she will not be reelected. she's a republican, a moderate one, but still, a republican, imo. sorry if you disagree (anyone).

12. Okay, let's pile on Fresno
Okay, check that. Let's criticize Fresno. After all, it's the home of the world's most boorish football fans and it is the capital of Freeper Nation.

Fresno does suck. And so does Feinstein.

But the ad geniuses at Toyota of America blew it on this one. That's not gonna help sales at Michael Toyota. http://www.michaeltoyota.com/
