Bill Bennett just alleged that the retired brigadier general is a Hillary operative |

In the CNN post-debate analysis.
(The one who asked the gays-in-the-military question.)

Bennett is lying sob...but with all the intel and spying...how did the general "sneak" in? Must have been a successful Hillary question plant!

4. Bill Bennett is such a big blowhard that, unless he backs this up with FACTS, it's a rumor. |

12. Who needs to address this? CNN? Hillary? McCain? Who? |
|
Its a free country (for awhile anyway). Even if the guy was a Hillary "operative" he has the same rights as any other citizen even if it gets Bill Bennett's flab jiggling. Cooper is a fuckin wuss for reacting like that.

Isn't everyone allowed into a debate? And the man is who he says he is. And the question was entirely valid. There is no need to address a damn thing.

20. It's not Hillary's problem or the general's |
|
It's CNN's problem.
They sorted through thousands of questioners to pick the ones they wanted. If they picked a member of Hillary's campaign team they would want to divulge that right up front.
There's some yelling and scrambling going on at CNN tonight I'm sure.
I didn't see the whole debate, but the general was the only questioner that I saw who was given a microphone so he could talk about the answers he got to his question. I thought that was outside the format of the debate.
If it turns out the only one who got to respond was a Hillary supporter, then CNN will be wiping egg off its face for a long time, and the Republicans will be howling just like Democratic supporters would be if the situation was reversed.

21. It could be he was the only one who wanted to respond to what the candidates said |
|
And then, being an older veteran and of high rank, CNN thought it would be too tacky to refuse him. But, of course, someone did cut the mike off at one point to try to shut him up.

I would imagine that any of the questioners would have loved to have been able to respond to the answers they got to their questions.

that Rick Santorum (even though he got clobbered by Bob Casey) would still run for president,
Bill Bennett should stick to what he is an expert on: where to get a good steak, & sitting his fat ass down to playing cards/slots/keno....
