1. Having read both the link and your post, I am at a loss how to respond...

The problem as I see it is that (Being a Canadian with an uncle that happened to be African Canadian) is that the confederates should have been wiped off the face of the earth instead of sitting in some of the Southern states making shit out of nothing at all...... The Confederates lost the civil war, yet they seem to like to dredge it up at every opportunity.... They are the ones that should get the FUCK over it, not the African Americans that were branded as slaves by these degenerates... that still exist in our modern day Federal Congress and Senate... FUCK THEM... YOU LOST THE FUCKING WAR, NOW GET THE FUCK OVER IT...

8. Southern States

It was never the objective of the Federal Government to "wipe" the southern states off the face of the earth. The object was to bring them back into the Union. Are you suggesting that the Federal Government in the 1860s should have embarked on a campaign of mass murder? I think a recommendation of wiping the Confederates out is as logical to todays problems as recommending the British in Canada wiped out the French to solve the problem with Quebec.

The South (Confederates) lost the civil war... But many have never excepted this... How do you think that the world would tolerate someone having slaves? This just doesn't sit with me... The Southern States that had slaves, were what we would now call companies or Corporations... Hey, GWB would love this for sure.... Sorry, you have lost me on this one...
