The GOP Field in Buffy villains - for your entertainment

Sample:
McCain -The Master
The oldest vampire. Got killed early, but there's some talk about how he might rise again.

Thompson: The Judge
His backers got all excited and made a big effort to assemble him. When they finally put him together, he turned out to be a lethargic mess and didn't accomplish very much.

Ron Paul - Moloch the Corruptor

He's been around a long time, but he only recently absorbed himself into the internet, where he now has a bunch of overexcited followers who spend too much time online.

and an apt commentary on it on a TV vlog

-Neil Sinhababu at Cogitamus is the new reigning king of absurd Buffy references with his detailed guide to the republican primaries by assigning them to some of the show’s more infamous villains. I applaud anyone’s ability to bring “Moloch the Corruptor” into a political conversation (sorry, Ron Paul), but comparing Giuliani to David Boreanaz is sacrilege in these parts.":+

1. Ha!Ha! They're ALL genuine threats to destroy the world! It's hardly an exaggeration!

2. I know. Some of those characters are more beneficial than the candidates.

3. OMG That's hysterical!

But then, I'm a Buffy fan, even have the complete series on DVD. ;-)

edit: Yes, I agree about Angelus and Ghouliani. Angelus did his own destruction, didn't rely on kickbacks to minions.

edit: Hope you don't mind, but I x-posted to the Lounge. They love this kind of stuff. Oh and I agree w/ the comments in the blog. Rudy is more like one of the Gentelmen from "Hush"
