1. Back at you Joanne.
So many people in both the Obama and Edwards camps at the caucus last night spoke of hating to take sides in this caucus because they want them both on the ticket in November. I'm holding out for an Obama/Edwards or Edwards/Obama ticket. I think it would be a clear alternative to the status quo and such a departure from business as usual. We need them both!

2. If it happens, I hope it's quick. Hillary can't jump that hurdle and we
can go back to bashing Republicans.

3. Yeah...the bussing sure helped all those students were a sneaky
way to win. But since they can't do that in the next states lets see Mr. Jumping Bumping American Idol do well. I just hope Obama supporters stop their hate and vile..since Obama PICKED UP these 17 delegates lets see how well he does in a state where they have to use a ballot box to vote and not raise hands in a crowded living room.

7. "...their hate and vile"
Only one line from your post was discernable on my monitor, due to the abundance of spittle and foam that came flying at my screen when I tried to read your post.
I'm sure it was a terrific post though. You probably should post it again as an OP.

6. that is something i dont get
I have no dog in this fight anymore (I believe two of the most qualified candidates withdrew last night) but a 12 minute SPEECH does not qualify you to be president. remember when we all made fun of and despised Ronald Reagan for saying uplifting things and doing exactly the opposite??

perhaps when BHO votes "yea" or "nay" and not "present" on Senate votes we can actually figure out what issues he is willing to take a stand on (WHEN IT COUNTS)

I would think we would be smart enough to look deeper than a victory speech after getting 80,000 votes in a caucus

8. I know I'm not that smart but
it seems to me that part of being President is setting a tone, giving a sense of direction and uplifting the people you're leading. It's not just about voting records. Many of those votes are meaningless anyway, but still there are a few he should have voted on. No candidate is perfect and your concerns are part of the reason I have been a little wary of Obama.

It also seems to me that Obama took a principled stand on the War when it counted. Surely, the War counts - but that's rather inconvenient to mention since Biden, Dodd, Hillary and Edwards all voted to give the Idiot Son carte blanche authority to go to War. Note that includes two of the "qualified candidates." Those two are partially responsible for the deaths of almost 4,000 US soldiers, along with nearly 30,000 wounded US personnel and at least 80,000 Iraqi deaths (and maybe far more depending on who's counting and how). "Present" might have been a preferable vote.
