I just saw this headline on yahoo and the word "leans" is definitely an attempt to make Hillary look weak. It also is a form of anti-female commentary, alluding to the stereotype of women "leaning" on men and therefore unable to do anything (like run a country) themselves. Xultar tried to explain to everyone how corporate media types (and others) would be using coded language to express racist sentiments against Obama; this headline and article, I believe, is in the same vein against Hillary
as a woman. I don't like to see any of our Democratic candidates demeaned. (And, yes, I know the M$M seems to be completely ignoring John Edwards. So far, in my opinion, the M$M is 0 for 3 when it comes to our frontrunners.)

No loyal spouse would say any less. But with Bill Clinton, it's a far more complicated dynamic than simply that of the supportive husband. He is at once a huge part of her political bona fides and a living reminder of days gone by....
