Corporate Media trying to make Hillary look weak?
I just saw this headline on yahoo and the word "leans" is definitely an attempt to make Hillary look weak. It also is a form of anti-female commentary, alluding to the stereotype of women "leaning" on men and therefore unable to do anything (like run a country) themselves. Xultar tried to explain to everyone how corporate media types (and others) would be using coded language to express racist sentiments against Obama; this headline and article, I believe, is in the same vein against Hillary as a woman. I don't like to see any of our Democratic candidates demeaned. (And, yes, I know the M$M seems to be completely ignoring John Edwards. So far, in my opinion, the M$M is 0 for 3 when it comes to our frontrunners.)

Hillary Clinton leans on 'relic' Bill

By NANCY BENAC, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 36 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - In a presidential race where the Democratic candidates are competing as agents of change, Hillary Rodham Clinton's most reliable campaign prop is something of a political relic — her husband. The former president was at her side to help put the best face on her third-place finish Thursday in Iowa, and he was beside her again when dawn broke the next day on the final push to Tuesday's New Hampshire primary.

"I was never more proud of Hillary in all the days we've been together and all the days of this campaign than when she gave that speech in Iowa," the ex-president told New Hampshire voters.

No loyal spouse would say any less. But with Bill Clinton, it's a far more complicated dynamic than simply that of the supportive husband. He is at once a huge part of her political bona fides and a living reminder of days gone by....

1. Yeah, that sucks.
The president preceding the current one is generally not refered to as a "relic".

2. No kidding. I was kind of taken aback by the word "relic" too
All in all, it seemed to be a really negative article.

3. Hillary's not my candidate, but if the media keeps it up,
I might just have to rise up for her. Across the board, from CNN to that zoo at fux, they are just so unabashedly hurtful and hateful to Hillary and Bill. I remember before Bill ever set foot in the white house I saw bumper stickers reading "The Failed Clinton Administration", so can't say I'm a bit surprised. My mind and money right now are following John Edwards, but it still doesn't make it o.k. for the lying, conniving, manipulating, limbaugh dingle-berries to throw all their baseless hate in a free-for-all at Hillary and Bill and I might add, I've even heard nasty remarks about Chelsea on our airwaves, Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus!

4. I feel the same way. The bottom line is that Bill and Hillary are not bad people.

I mean they fought for health care for every American. You or I can disagree on this or that policy, but the abuse of them as civil servants by the media, especially after the media bowed down for 8 years to such an ASSFUCK as George w. Bush, (to the extent Jon Stewart became the most accurate source for news) has got to end.

8. Not nearly as weak as Kucinich.
Kucinich has tried twice now and can't get his presidential campaign off the ground.

Before you can BE president, you have to BE ELECTED. Which means you have to win some primaries.

Sorry, spam the board all you want with these videos, but it won't help Kucinich.
