5. When there's nothing intelligent to scream
then they will have the urge to scream USA, USA, USA. They also pray with the flag and wipe their ass with the Constitution (unless someone mentions Gun Laws then they care for it).

7. Time stopped for them on Feb. 22, 1980

Less than nine months later, they elected Reagan.

I blame Mike Eruzione.

Incurious, no critical thinking, it's just a "contest" to win.

I personally like it. And "God bless America." And no, that doesn't make me any less liberal. N/T.

Does that make me unpatriotic to think that?

and that's all there is to it.

And you want to know something? They're aren't.

24. It's necessary
Otherwise, how would these nimnols remember what country they were in? Same with the flag plastered on everything from their ample backsides to their rusting hulk of a car. Gotta remember the red, white and blue. But ask them what right habeas corpus guarantees, and they'll call you a commie. Ask them if our treaty obligations are superior to, equal to, or inferior to the Constitution, and you're liable to be waterboarded.

It's national chauvinism that's been sold to them as patriotism. They've been eagerly suckered, because it makes the beating they've received at the hands of their own freely-chosen leaders seem more palatable. And when they finally notice that they're holding the shitty end of the stick, they listen again to their leaders about whose fault it is (hint: not their leaders).

27. This is actually from a Secret Service manual obtained and released by the ACLU
concerning preparations for any visit by Chimpy or Snarly

The idea being to assemble pro-repuke counterprotesters

who were to block camera shots of protesters and drown out their chants

USA! USA! USA!

was actually suggested as the most effective counter chant to drown us out

And now you know the rest of the story

(if you want to read it yourself, do a search on the ACLU website for "Secret Service Manual" )
