Bart Simpson Actress Gives $10 Million to Scientology
Longtime Scientologist Nancy Cartwright — best known as the voice of Bart Simpson — last year gave the church $10 million to help spread the word of founder L. Ron Hubbard into other galaxies.

It was all part of Scientology’s Global Salvage effort, which aims to “de-aberrate” Earth — meaning to rid mankind of psychology ills and other “aberrant” behavior.

Surprisingly, Nancy, 50, forked over twice as much as the Scientology’s most prominent member, Tom Cruise, who only gave $5 million in an installment plan.

14. Would Nancy do an Issac Hayes if The Simpsons did a spoof on Scientology?
Given the amount of spoofing the progam has done on other religions and cults would Nancy up and quit if the program took aim at her faith like Hayes did with South Park?

10. Exactly why do entertainers seem so susceptible to Scientology?
Does the idea of alien spirits disembarking from a 707 over a volcano speak especially to them?

12. It's a way for lots of actors to get jobs
The Scientologists have a huge network of people throughout the entertainment industry and belonging to the "church" can get your foot in the door or revitalize a flagging career. On a Cruise film, for example, which he produces, he can hire Scientologist "craft services," Scientologist actors, Scientologist hair and makeup people, etc. In a business where access is everything, the very concerted effort to woo the Hollywood crowd gives aspiring members of the biz something no amount of talent or beauty can: an open door.

15. I just. don't. get. it.
What the fuck is wrong with these people? Does Scientology pray upon people with dark scary skeletons in their closets which would ruin their careers? Why/how else could anyone fall for this shit other than being blackmailed into submission? These have got to be the most stupid people on earth outside of CU and FR.

instead of giving unto the ponzi scam, she COULD have just set up a foundation of her own, but alas that would probably piss off some fucked up alien god or something.
