Even FDR, at the height of his popularity as President, backed up by a solidly Democratic Congress, could not change the make up of the Supreme Court. Even though the Court was slicing up the New Deal right and left. I do not think that from what I have seen of Congressional leadership and the current slate of Presidential candidates that these folks could muster enough intestinal fortitude to tackle the task. Just my opinion.
