Edited on Thu Jan-31-08 10:07 PM by proud2Blib

With president’s visit to KC, traffic could be a challenge

With President Bush in town Friday, expect traffic snarls around the Country Club Plaza and Crown Center that morning and delays in downtown and in the Northland around lunchtime.

The president is to sign a proclamation in honor of American Heart Month at 8:35 a.m. Friday at the Intercontinental Kansas City at the Plaza hotel, then participate in a 9 a.m. breakfast with business leaders at a location that still has not been announced.

He will head to Hallmark Cards at Crown Center for a 10:20 a.m. tour, followed by a 10:55 a.m. statement on the economy.

Bush is to then travel to a private residence in Parkville to raise money for U.S. Rep. Sam Graves of Missouri. That will begin at 12:20 p.m.

The comment section after the story could use some help. Hint, hint.

in the middle of the night this time.

That lying criminal bastard and the entire murdering, thieving, filthy gang of thugs he calls an "administration" fucking SUCKS. Dirty rotten pigs.

His ticket was reduced to a dollar but he has never been reimbursed for the towing.

10. That's a good thing.
Anything to slow the inattentive drivers down around here reduces the amount of damage and harm they do when they run into things.

Moreover, getting caught in a jam might give some of them time to meditate on what that mysterious stick protruding from the right side of their steering wheel is for.
