One of the Ads I'm seeing is saying

I will click on that link when someone pries my cold, dead fingers out of my eyes. Why is an ad for a repuke creep on this site?

The ads are not hand selected by the admin. They are on here because this is a political website and google thinks you might click the link.

6. But DU makes money every time you click an ad. They can't say anything

about that, for that's most likely part of the agreement he had to sign to post the ads. He can't ask you to click the links either. It would be unethical to try to pump up ad revenues. It wouldn't be fair to the advertisers.

8. Oh sure. Some are good like one to a Clinton feature in the NYT. It

discussed letters she wrote in college. I'd like to see one like that about Obama. Some of the ads hold no interest for me.
