A note to Elizabeth Edwards

Though I know there is a very small chance that you will be reading this, I just wanted to write a few words regarding my thoughts about you and your husband.

It is sometimes easy for some to react to the MSM meme/memos of the day, but please know that many, many people out in this small world believe in what you and John have stated you stand for.

You are strong, and are teaching your children well.

I am pleased to know that there still are people like you out there facing what you and the family are facing in such an amazing manner.

I am proud to be a democrat, though am saddened that I will not be able to hear John's voice in debates anymore in this election cycle speaking for "the people".

Thank you for being a courageous role model. Thank you for understanding that this country needed to hear the words that you and your husband speak so eloquently.

Take care, and we'll see you around the bend by the creek with fishing poles in our hands hopefully discussing how good things have gotten again for "the people".

I, too, am saddened that he suspended his campaign, because I truly believed that he was the best candidate.

12. Elizabeth is one of John's greatest strengths.

She is the epitome of a fine southern lady. Not a belle wannabe like the vapid, over-botoxed Stepford wife we have now. But, a beautiful, courageous, strong, intelligent and gracious woman who would make a wonderful first lady.

Michelle will be intelligent, beautiful and strong, but she clearly lacks the southern grace. I guess mid-westerners have a charm all their own.

even if it was for such a short time. We fell in love with him, just as you knew we would. I have never seen some one who was such a tireless worker. You both are truly inspirational. It would have warmed our hearts to see Jack and Emma Clair running around the White House.

I have one request though, please don't let John endorse any one. His supporters are divided on who they want to see in the White House, if it can't be John. Let them vote for him in the primaries, it will be the only pleasure that they will get for the rest of the election.
