18. Just received our Certificate of Registered Domestic Partnership...

...from CA Secretary of State Debra Bowen today! We had our declaration unceremoniously notarized at the UPS Store down the road last Saturday. I was surprised and delighted to find our certificate (official seal and all) in our pile of mail this evening. K and I had a moment of excitement and laughed because after being together for going on almost six years, we finally have an official "anniversary" date to celebrate--January 30, 2008.
