5. download is 442 kb/s upload is 178 kb/s
and we're paying 39.99 bucks a month for this but have on other isp's in our area. I guess its time to call the help desk huh

on exactly what you've got on your end. :rofl:

It's been fine here in the UK - maybe you're routing via Egypt or India whose current problems due to a ship's anchor whatever busting the Mediterannean cable look likely to last for 2 weeks or so.

10. My internet speed is the same as it is mostly, down a few kb\s and
I have a new install because at first I thought that might be the case and I wanted to change some partitions so I reformated and reloaded xp home and that hasn't made any difference. you've heard of a one horse town well thats what we have here only one ISP, no other options except satelite which is out of the question. thanks though

I rebooted to my linux puppy operating system and its slower shit with this too so I guess it is in the internet tubes being plugged up or something

but when I run testmy.net it shows my speed to be what it pretty much always is 454 kb/s
