http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=389&topic_id=2700381The media promotes two types of candidates - Republicans and corporate Democrats. So a McCain-Clinton matchup is a win-win for them.
Including all candidates in the debates seems like a moot point when they do so much of their promoting subtly, in news shows and news articles. They have been promoting Hillary (the frontrunner with a huge lead) that way for months. How? By putting that frontrunner line in every story about her. That's a hint to the sheeple. She's gonna win. So jump on the bandwagon or stay on the bandwagon. Don't waste your time, money or vote on one of the other candidates. They have also been tearing Edwards (the millionaire trial lawyer) for months. The same way. Every time he gets mentioned, also throw in the "facts" that he's rich and he's a lawyer. If there's room for another line, then add this "His campaign is having trouble because of recent stories about his expensive haircuts and expensive house" (although we won't come straight out and tell you he's a rich phony, here are all the dots, conveniently lined up and numbered.)
