homeless people living underneath a viaduct in New Orleans? Paraphrasing:"He needs to get his SORRY ASS down there and put our money where what is supposed to be your mouth is!" Frankly, I can't believe nor understand people who continue to tune into that idiot's broadcast. My FIL listens to that idiot and I ask him why he not only wastes his time listening to him and why he still continues to believe someone who keeps getting caught in baldfaced lie after baldfaced lie....I don't get it.

1. KO really blistered Bill Orally's sorry ass this time.
I don't know, either, why anybody listens to Bill-O any more; I suspect it's because they never listen to anybody other than him and his ilk so they aren't getting any reality checks at all.

3. the people who listen to him
Don't want the truth. They want someone to confirm their fears and make their paranoia seem like a virtue.

4. I watched the very first part of O'Reilly, what's it called?
Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 09:04 PM by rusty quoin
"My Dumb Thoughts" or something like that, and he said that the homeless were being used and next week he has some big thing on veterans. I only caught a piece of it, so I'm not clear on the segment, but he, of course, is shifting blame again.

5. KO owes a lot of his popularity to the baffoon O'Really
A couple of years ago KO started the war with O'Really and OR fell for it completely. HE couldn't help himself. He had to react, used Olberman's name over and over and over and KO's ratings went up and up and up until he was doing commentary for the NFL.

O'Really is stupider than anyone (except KO) gives him credit for.

7. I think KO should ramp this up.
He should send someone to the bridge in NO to interview the homeless &
ask them what they need. Then go to the agencies in NO that deal with the Homeless & deliver the Video of the Interview to them & also put a portion of it on Count Down.

10. Actually he does everything BUT use KO's name.
Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 09:37 PM by BerryBush
He acts like something evil will happen if he just says "Keith Olbermann." It's like he's Bloody Mary, the Candyman or Voldemort to Billo!

Edit: If you call in to his radio show and say "Keith Olbermann," he hangs up on you and threatens you with a visit from "Fox Security."

11. When you ask him why he watches, what is his response?
I have a bunch of relatives like that and when I ask them why they watch that douchebag they mumble and change the subject. Not one of them will defend Orally to me.

Of course I always adopt an aggressive confrontational posture when I ask (kind of like o'reilly does) so they may be intimidated. If so screw 'em. If they're such big macho conservatives they need to toughen up.

But seriously I'd really like to hear a rational reason why anyone would watch such drivel.

Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 10:26 PM by Ecumenist
I just don't get it. I think for myself and if someone I listen to is caught in a lie even one time, that's it. Although I must say that I don't look to anyone else to make my choices for me. I guess that's the difference between us and folks of his ilk.
