Stop subsidizing nuclear power electrical plants on the backs of the People.
We want local small scale production community infrasctructer - that is, IF anybody really cares.
Bad business models should not be our only choice.

1. Uh, the allternative, right now, is to burn more COAL. We may not like that, |

but it's the truth.
Maybe some day, we'll all be able to afford to cover our houses with photovoltaic panels (I for one, would LOVE to be able to do that right now), but until then, we have what we have.
Unless, of course, we all decide to use a LOT less electricity each.
A question: Have you changed all the lights in your house to Compact Fluorescents yet? If not, you're part of the problem.

what you are saying about Coal. The necessities can't be ignored - BUT - Everyone needs to be more Honest about what is going on so that the financial commitments don't continue to preclude alternatives and - local groups need to be introduced to smaller business models, believe me, I live in suburbia; younger community leaders, who build community infrastructures of all kinds, are interested in locally focused business strategies. The continuation of Socialism for Oil and Nuclear Power cannot be ignored. The people want local cooperative choices in all aspects of their own lives.
