If offered, would BC take the chance to run with Obama for VP over
what might appear to be a less sure thing with HRC?? I mean, they have clipped his wings and all, who knows what is possible until you give it a go?? Sorry, I'm bored too.

1. Sorry, he cannot. Two terms and out. The Constitution thingy.
I think this got hashed and rehashed to death 7-8 years ago here.

2. I think Bill has better things to do.
In any case, he could not run for this. He seems like he has been doing great things since he left office, even though I never hear anything positive being said about him. He has been busy taking care of those in need around the world. I am thankful to him for that.

Amendment 22 - Presidential Term Limits. Ratified 2/27/1951.

1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.


He could run for the office of vice president and serve as president should that president leave office.

The amendment only prohibits being ELECTED to the office of president twice. It doesn not prohibit him from serving.

Bush cannot be elected again... unless they state that he wasn't elected in 2000. Then he could be elected for another term.
