So I come in to my cat hospital this AM to feed my two mascots and scoop their boxes, like I do every Sunday AM. I took an old cat carrier out to the dumpster out back and see in my parking lot - now everybody gets three guesses.......and no peeking.......

a BIG RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS abandoned in my parking lot.

I mean, WTF??????? :wtf:

None of the other businesses around me are even open, and none of them would have any reason to own or use a BIG RED DOUBLE DECKER BUS. And park it directly behind my cat hospital. Oy.

So now I am waiting for a towing company to show up and take it away. LAPD says they won't charge me to tow it. I sure as hell hope not - it will cost thousands, probably. If they even HAVE a tow truck big enough that will fit into the alley and our very small parking area......

2. It was either JUST bought (secondhand)or JUST registered -

Jeebus. I'm steamed over this. I have stuff to do at home and want to watch the Superbowl and I HAVE TO SIT HERE waiting for the tow truck, if it ever shows up.

3. maybe it wasn't abandoned. maybe the owners just went to get something

to eat?

is it a long bus? is it some sort of bus the city uses?

4. If they wanted to get something to eat, they could have parked it

right on the street, the meters are free on Sunday and this is a business district so Sunday AM parking is abundant to say the least, lol.

It's one of those London double deckers. Complete with red paint. No company name on it.

6. End of saga. I opened my eyes and saw the phone number on the front

of the bus, lol. Called the owner. It's scheduled for a sign job tomorrow through my neighbor, the print shop (??huh??)according to the owner. They are having a driver come to move it to behind the print shop to take up all THEIR parking.

Cancelled the tow. All quiet on the western front now. On to the Superbowl.......
