social security wage garnishment cannot compare to health care |

Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 06:08 PM by fenriswolf
social security is not a privatized industry but a government run program, wage garnishment for this is just like taxes.
If our wages are garnished for a "for profit" system that is totally different because my paycheck would have money taken out to provide a CEO a golden parachute. where as in social security my money would be going to make sure someone's grandmother has food.
*edit I posted this in regards to the numerous responses that if we are willing to have wages garnished for social security we should be willing to have wage garnishment for health care.

1. I am willing to have a payroll tax to support a UNIVERSAL single payer health CARE system. |

Not one dime of it to go to any parasitic private corporation.

and I'm right their with you. I have no problems paying taxes for health care. I do not want money taken out because i'm not meeting corporate stated premiums.
