Business-adverse candidates are gone -- MJS Article
Edited on Sun Feb-03-08 11:40 PM by StClone
Well turn the lights up on John Edwards now that he is history. The future holds such promise that it will be back to business as usual since Edwards' chance to muck things up are gone. The "Centrists" of both parties are pro-business; isn't it amazing for that to happen?

John Torinus

It is not without import to business people that the presidential candidates most adverse to business have been voted out, and the candidates in the center and friendly to business are still in the race for the White House.

John Edwards, who made a living suing corporations and a political career vilifying business people, is history, except as a possible Democratic vice presidential running mate.

1. I love the "business averse" framing.

They're trying to pretend Edwards et. al. were enemies of poor small businessmen and women. What a crock. Can't the MSJ tell the difference between "Mom's Cakeshoppe" and fucking Exxon Corp.? Just another newspaper staffed by the hard of thinking.

5. I'm sure champagne corks were popping in private clubs...
...all across America when Edwards pulled out. The nation remains safe for unbridled corporate exploitation for another eight years. Hurrah!

6. Indeed. It's "ALL BUSINESS" and not just corrupt business and wrongdoers.
That's a symptom of widespread business corruption, imho.
