Why do Democrats and Republicans have different numbers of delegates? |
When one sees a report it says that that many - don't remember now - delegates are needed to win the candidacy but the numbers are different for the two parties, as are, of course, the numbers from each state.

1. They are two different parties and chose how many delegates attend their conventions |
without regard to how many attend other party's conventions.

2. Thanks. This actually gives the impression that there are fewer Republicans |
in the country.
Glad that our primaries are not "winner takes all."
