Posters putting up their gripes to Skinner instead of acting like grown ups and talking to him directly -- that's just bad boundaries. It's not like Skinner can read the same gripe from 50 people and put up a representative one so we can have a conversation as Editorial page editors do.

I myself would prefer to stay out of conflicts that other people have.

ETA: I'm not sure if that says what I mean. There are some conflicts that are two headed and some that involve the community. There is a difference and I'd really rather let people work things out in their own way without adding static when the conflict is clearly none of my busyness.
