Remember how I never met my oldest daughter till last Dec., here is her birthday present (corrected)

The numbers on the photos have changed since my last post about Bobbi.

Photo 54: Is my oldest daughter Bobbi with her birth mom Cindy. This was their first contact since Bobbi was born. Bobbi was born on Cindy's birthday, January 3rd (1973).

Photo 55: Bobbi and I share a moment at breakfast Sunday. We met for the first time the afternoon before.

Photo 56: Bobbi's Omaha family less my sister, her husband, and kids, and my son Steve's daughter Bobbi.

Out front in purple with a cane is my mom Bernice. Center front is Cindy's mom Janice. Front row right is Cindy's youngest daughter Gabby.
Center row in pink is Cindy. Obscured by my mom's hat is Adam, Cindy's son. In the center holding a snow man is Bobbi. To the right is my youngest daughter Serena (Beanie). To her right with blond hair is my middle daughter Krissy. To Krissy's right is her daughter Madison held by her husband Sean. Back row left starts with my wife Marta. Everybody knows I'm the next one. To the right is son Steve, and rounded out by Serena's husband Aaron.

She got her present in the mail today. She called tonight. We had tears on both ends of the phone. Here is what Bobbi got for her 35th birthday:



I want to thank all my friends here on the DU for letting me share parts of my life. I haven't been myself of late because of pain and meds from my accident at work back in December. Thanks for putting up with me. Your all wonderful.

It is actually one ring that spins on your finger. It may be currently sold it. I don't see it listed. We got one of the last size 7's they had. I'm sure they will offer them again soon. There are a few other message rings that might work.

I found out night before last that my birth daughter and her husband had caucused for Edwards!

Pillars of society! While I can take no credit, I'm mighty proud of them nonetheless!!!

When I talked to Bobbi last night, she asked who I was supporting now the Edwards was not in the race. She bought Obama's book and is leaning his way.
