For those who miss the “Greatest” page’s intended purpose (re: GD-P threads) |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 10:40 PM by 8_year_nightmare
Type in “Primaries” in the Google box at the top of your browser, then click on the “highlight” icon to the top right. All the GD-P threads will be highlighted, making it much easier to ignore them in order to find those threads which truly merit being on the “Greatest” page.

3. Who determines what threads "truly merit being on the "Greatest" page?" |
|
Oh yeah, posters who recommend those threads.

4. The two candidates' respective supporters have hijacked the "greatest" page |

for the sake of one-upping each other. We already have a forum created exclusively for that purpose: the GD-P, which are able to be hidden. It isn't possible to hide these threads on the "greatest" page, for some reason.

10. Very wisely stated; one could take that either way. |
|
If that was directed toward me, please understand that I wouldn't ask that the GD-P threads be removed from the "Greatest" page; I would only like to have the capability of hiding the GD-P threads entirely from the "Greatest" page as well as the "Latest".

11. Too bad you can't highlight them, SoCal. You should see the "greatest" page |
|
lit up in yellow; the "greatest" page is now the second edition of the GD-P forum.

9. Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have a google toolbar at the top. |
|
Not by choice, but compliments of my techy son, who uses my computer when he comes to visits.
The highlighting function is the only thing that I use; I use it often to find key words quickly.
