Poll question: Quiz/poll
So Saturday morning, I'm driving my son to his basketball game. We're driving down the Fairfax County Parkway, which is a long winding road (a 4-lane divided partially limited access highway) with a speed limit of 50 mph. Locals treat the road like the Autobahn so it is not unusual to see people going 75 mph.

Anyway, we are going about 55 mph when suddenly a guy strolls out right into the road in front of my Jeep without even looking.

That guy was....

1. Do we even have to ask?
"Traffic laws are just another manifestation of the oppressive nature of the state, dude. Stop trying to infringe on my liberty. Read 'Atlas Shrugged' and educate yourself!"

3. LOL. The goverment can't force him to look both ways before crossing!
If these Ron Paul dopes lack the common sense to look before crossing the street, they should do everyone a favor and stay home on election day.

6. It's an academic sport where I grew up--like Jeopardy with teams.
I was on our high school team all four years, captain for my last two. Yes, I proudly wore my varsity jacket from my Quiz Bowl varsity letter (not that they let us in the varsity letter clubs, but still). I was a maaaaaajor geek in high school and still am. :)

5. C-SPIN Just Beat Up On A Paulbot...
Looks like they're finally getting tired of the Paulbots calling in and bitching every morning. They just read a Zogby poll that shows Paul at 2% in the New York primary. The Paulbot claims that since he wasn't polled...or his friends...that there's no way it could be accurate. The C-SPINner then asked why Paul's numbers were so low and the caller blamed the media (sound familiar???)...the host then mentions the money Paul's raised and then asked if he'd seen a Ron Paul commercial on his TV. The caller began the Ralph Cramden stuttering and then again blamed the media for trying to hide his "message". The host then said that with all the money he's raised, couldn't he get his message out...and then asked the caller if he had donated. The caller then says "yes, a boatload"...but you could hear the guy's voice starting to waver. The C-SPIN host then smiled like a Cheshire cat and moved onto the next call.
