Please join me in thanking a REPUBLICAN State Senator and her committee |
|
I'm asking all my friends on the DU for a few moments of their time to write one email on two subjects.
First, my State Senator Sen. Abbie Cornett (District 45, Bellevue) is chairperson of the Business and Labor committee. She is a Republican that carries the water bucker for labor. She is a retired police officer and former union member. Yesterday in a committee meeting I gave testimony at, she declared her support for the fair share bill.
LB936: Provide for a fair share representation contribution by non-labor organization members for representation provided by the labor organization.
This means that non members in union shops would have to pay a fee for unions bargaining on their behalf etc...
Her email : acornett@leg.ne.gov
Please thank Senator Friend (not a committee member) for introducing the bill : mfriend@leg.ne.gov
Let the following members know you support this bill.
Vice chair Sen. Kent Rogert : krogert@leg.ne.gov
Committee members :
Sen. Ernie Chambers was not present and does not have an email address.
Sen. Steve Lathrop : slathrop@leg.ne.gov
Sen. Amanda McGill : amcgill@leg.ne.gov
Sen. Norm Wallman : nwallman@leg.ne.gov
Sen. Tom White : twhite@leg.ne.gov
In the same email please let ALL the committee members know you oppose the Governor's appointment of Sam Jensen to the Commission of Industrial Relations.
If you don't mind including your home address to show people around the country are watching, I would appreciate it.
Regards,
Omaha Steve
