The elephant in the room that the TV pundants aren't touching....
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 08:05 PM by Postman
Bush has seriously harmed the Republican Party in general and "conservativism" in particular...

Have you noticed that Ronald Reagan hasn't been the POTUS for 2 decades? But to hear the republican pygmies (Newt Gingrich's term for the current crop of GOP slugs running for Prez) talk, you'd think he was just wrapping up his 2nd term in office.

It seems that George W Bush couldn't talk any of his fellow republicans out of a burning building, he's soo unpopular.

Bush who? Oh no, no, no...I'm a Reagan republican....

Yeah, right.

1. It'd be hilarious and pathetic, if we didn't have the incredible 7 years of destruction...
...wrought by that huge elephant in the room.

2. Makes campaigning so easy. Just show 'em with Bush.
I'd say scoop up that footage quick, before it mysteriously disappears.

3. It's like something out of "1984."
Shrub has been made an "unperson" in the eyes of the GOP. It's like you say, the past twenty years never happened and everything's just a continuation of the "Reagan Golden Age(TM)".

Dubyah? What's a Dubyah?

6. You say pundit, I say pundant - lets call the whole thing off...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pundit

Pundit or Pundant may refer to:

Pandit, in India, a scholar or expert, especially of traditional Indian law, philosophy, or music
Pundit (expert), an expert or opinion-leader who analyzes events in his or her area of expertise in the popular media
Pundit (explorer), a 19th century term to denote native surveyors who explored regions to the north of India for the British Empire

....but what about my point?

Bush has slaughtered Americans. And Iraqis.

Republicans are hypocrites.
Ignorant.
Selfish.
Intolerant.

Republicans suck.
