Would you buy a used Gremlin from this guy?

I wouldn't buy used spit from that guy. I also wouldn't hire any one of his sons to mow my grass. Or kiss my ass.

The Gremlin was a better car than he is a trustworthy candidate for US President.

He's more like the Pacer.

2. His parents, George and Lenore, were old-time Republicans that no longer exist.
George Romney may not have marched with MLK, but he fought for strong civil rights in Michigan's Constitution. Lenore Romney passionately supported the ERA.

Mitt Romney is one of the worst frauds and most dangerous persons ever perpetrated on the American people. Pathetic.

3. You mean his back window melts cassette tapes in the sun?
That, as I recall, was the main difference between the Pacer and the Gremlin. Although I would love to buy either of them if they were still in good condition, just for the retro cred.

But yeah, Romney's a transparent con man.

20. *slobber*
Porsche & Ferrari make beautiful cars. I don't think Americans can, we just don't have it. Kind of like Italians and great shoes.

23. Ford "gets it" to some extent
GM does not, for me. The Corvette always looked like a pale imitation of Ferrari.

25. 60K (high end) vs 200k
The vette is an everymans sports car. Entry level cars are around 50k. For a great v8 and reliable road/track car.

You can find 2 years used examples for 30ish.

The 911 is great but begins to price out. Bit expensive for tires brakes, maint.

The Ferrari is (hove not driven one) beautiful but hard to maintain, I would bet.

The G8 has potential, minus the shit wheels..Huge horsepower. Hopefully minus the crap gm plastics.

21. I used to own a used Gremlin.
I hated it.

Every time it rained the wiring got wet (never did figure out HOW) and it wouldn't start. Every time I hit a puddle the damned thing would die.

I finally T-boned another car with it (accidentally, of course). Fortunately nobody was hurt. But DAYUM it felt good to wreck that thing and get it out of my life!

I lived in a broken down Gremlin.......

nearly froze to death. But Wayne's World kept me solid
with the defunct AMC.

Maybe the JD kept my legs from being cut-off?

29. They are a very attractive looking family.
They certainly have that going for them. They all look so "nice", too. Nothing wrong with that.
I have no problems with their looks, because they look a little like my family.

I just don't want Romney as president, plain and simple. Nothing to do with appearance!
