Since we apparently HAVE to have sports hearings in congress |

Maybe they could at least make them interesting...
All players must show up in uniform & ready to play...
Mascots should be included (for revving up the audience)
USC Marching band could play during intermissions.
and cheerleaders..with sparkles & pom-poms...& white boots and hot pants
During lulls, they could run a few plays..hit a few buckets of balls..have autograph signing sessions..
A guy could come in with hotdogs & peanuts..
Fox Sports could cover it and have one lucky fan in the audience attempt a field goal or something...or maybe blindfold the guy and have him try to hit a fastball....
If they get really boring, maybe the cheerleaders could mud-wrestle..

4. That's right, it doesn't matter that the rest of the country is ... |
|
out of work and going bankrupt. Nothing gets you face time like brow beating a 7 time Cy Young winner.

2. I think Congress should be the ones playing cheerleader |
|
and have to "cheer" their questions and comments
I expect splits, somersaults, and pyramids as well.
for break (half-time), I want Congressional aids to perform "Grease"

6. These Sports hearings truly show how unfocused our Congress is to the real issues of the day.. |
|
Instead of Sports Hearings, lets have members of Congress go down to Louisiana and spend quality time helping people that still suffer as a result of their failures. Or how about actually investigating this administration aggressively for once? Its absolutely ridiculous that we have to endure being governed by such lackadaisical imbeciles.
