Good News For Whales: in essence, Court Tells Bush To Fuck Off!

Whether Navy sonar training exercises are harmful to marine animals has long been a point of conflict. On Monday, a federal judge in Los Angeles said President Bush cannot waive environmental laws that require the Navy to take special steps to protect whales.

3. what a gloomy gus! this is good news. at least the court didn't say

"go ahead and kill the whales"

6. I agree that the court order is good news, if , for no more useful

purpose than having Bush again show the world how little regard he has for our judicial system.
It took some courage for the judge to over rule him.

And yes, I have become a cynic in matters relating to the Bush administration.
